Shalom, as I greet you in the name of our father, Yah, through His son, Yahoshua, our Messiyah. My name is ObadiYah Ysrayl, one of the founding members of Israylite Heritage.  

 

I am 43 years old and currently reside in Chicago, IL, with my wife and son.  Although the world identifies me as African-American, I am a Hebrew Israylite by nationality.

About Israylite Heritage

Israylite Heritage is a group of Hebrews from around the world whose mission is to restore the truth of the bible to the Hebrew Israylite nation and then to spread it to other nations. We are not a traditional congregation or church. While many of us don't reside in the same city or state, that doesn't stop us from fulfilling our Yah ordained duty.  


Our present structure was orchestrated in 2008. However our work has been ongoing for 20 years, which has allowed us to expand operations internationally. We've separated into 12 districts, each with an overseeing regent and co-regents to ensure that we're on one accord with the Most High's guidance.

About Our Work

It is imperative that we fulfill our Yah ordained responsiblity as His Chosen People—to go out and teach.  Our sole purpose is to reach all nations using a multitude of mediums; from radio shows, video lessons, music, and documentaries to outreach programs and in-person gatherings.  

 

In addition to presenting lectures nationally and internationally, we have done hundreds of immersions over the years.

Community Outreach

We have a food, literacy, and shelter program called Feed My People where free clothing giveaways, breakfast, and computer training is available for the community.  It is currently operating through the Israylite Heritage Research and Fellowship Centers (IHRFC) as a non-profit affiliate. However, we are in the process of seeing our goal of opening homeless shelters around the country into fruition.

Music

Our music, known as Set Apart Music (S.A.M.), emerged to restore the history and heritage of the Israylites one rhyme or ballad at a time.  Illustrating where music should have evolved, these gifted artists educate and inform the masses through solo and collaborated projects.

The Israylite Heritage Radio Network produces 6 weekly shows through Blog Talk Radio.  We also have a weekly radio show on the Gospel Train radio station in Sandford, FL, every Thursday.

About Our Website

I was introduced to this truth in 1996.  And over the next 3 years I compiled hundreds of audio recordings, books, newspaper articles, images, and videos to prove that the African Americans are the true descendants of the biblical Israylites. Eventually I realized that I needed a way to get this information out to the masses.  

 

Published since 1999, it is the #1 Hebrew Israylite website, averaging 200,000 hits monthy and currently ranking number 303,000 most popular website in the United States.  It has recieved millions of visitors and has been quoted and republished numerous times over the internet.

The site, which was originally published as hebrewisraelites.org, was redesigned in 2000, 2001, and 2004 with 2016 being its fourth installment. The information presented has brought many Israylites into the knowledge of who they are. Our goal is simple; to restore the forgotten heritage to the forgotten people.

 

About Your Bible

By now you're probably wondering, "Who are these forgotten people and what is their forgotten heritage?"

 

I'll begin by answering the latter.  The forgotten heritage is the long-lost, biblical heritage of the children of Israyl, the Hebrew Israylites, whom today are called Blscks, African Americans etc.  From Genesis to Revelation, the ancient Israylites are mentioned over 2,500 times.  In fact, the bible is the history book of these people. Their past, present, and future is recorded within its pages.  Everything we need to know about them can be found in this book.  No other nation on the earth has such an extensively recorded history as the biblical Israylites; not even the ancient Egyptians.  

 

The question is, why are the biblical Israylites such a mysterious people?  Scholars and others believe that:

 

  • They are lost

  • The Ashkenazi Jews are the descendants of the children of Israyl

 

This website challenges those theories with the usage of the bible, history, and archaeology.  Our hope is that your understanding of this subject, no matter your nationality, will have tremendously increased.  May Yah, the Heavenly Father, guide your understanding of this work and reveal the deception of the devil.
